FAQ

We take a non-refundable £250 deposit to secure your booking.

How long do I have to pay for my package?

All packages must be paid in full  3 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Do you offer payment plans?

We offer fully flexible payment plans, tailored to each of our couples requests.

Can I upgrade at a later date?

If you have booked our photography only package, you can upgrade and add video onto your package up until 2 days prior to your wedding.

What equipment do you shoot on?

We shoot on Canon 5d MK III cameras.

Do you bring back up camera's with you?

In the rare event that a technical issue would arise, we always make sure to bring back up cameras, batteries and cards with us, so we are always covered.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, please get in touch if you need a copy to share with your venue.

What are your qualifications?

We both have BA(Hons) degrees in Photography For Fashion & Advertising, awarded by the University of Wales, Newport, as well as A-Level qualifications in photography.

Do you offer albums?

Yes, we offer fair trade accredited albums for £200. These albums help support a local community in rural India. The acid free khadda paper used in our albums are handmade using recycled cotton, leftover from the massive garment industry in India, made by a chairty in rural Rajasthan that promotes and funds women's education in rural villages.  Our large, hand stitched, leather albums hold 50 large 12x8 prints. We also allow you to select and choose you images before they are printed. Your album will be delivered in a canvas pouch.

Do you offer engagement shoots?

Due to our busy shooting schedule, normally every weekend is spent shooting weddings, so we have very limited time to take on a large volume engagement shoots. We are able to offer a 1.5 hour, weekday, coastal shoot, in Wales, for £150, for those couples who are happy to travel to us. A minimum of 50 images via digital download will be provided.

Can we print our images?

Yes! You will be delivered hi-res files on a USB with full printing rights.

Do you travel and what is the cost?

We travel all over the UK and abroad to shoot weddings, no where is to far for us! For UK based weddings, travel is charged at the standard rate of 0.45p per mile. For anywhere that is 2 hours or more from where we are located, 1 nights accommodation (normally the night prior to your wedding) must also be provided. This is normally anything from £40-£80 depending on the area.

How is music selected for video?

Due to music copywrite laws, we can only use music which allows us to purchase a music usage licence, giving us permission to use the music on our videos, this fee is already included in your package. It is very rare you would be able to get licences for chart music, as to get licences for songs by mainstream artists like Ed Sheehan etc, this would cost thousands! We use the music licence library musicbed.com when selecting our music for all our videos. We are unable to use music we cannot get a licence for, as this would be breaking copywrite law.

Do you offer speeches and ceremony add on's?

We do not record any live audio/speaking in our videos. As our videos are more of a best bits music video of your day, audio isn't something we feel fits in with our video style, so this is not a service we provide.

How long does it take to get our photos/videos?

We always like to send some sneak peeks 2-5 days after your wedding, then your full gallery and video is normally complete within 8/12 weeks after your wedding, but this could be longer during peak wedding season.

Do you cover both groom and bridal prep?

Yes! If you have booked us for our photography only package, as there is two of us, we normally split and Jon will head and capture groom prep and Emilie will capture bridal prep. A lot of groomsmen decide they don't want grooms prep captured, which is completely fine, we can do whatever you decide. If you have booked our combined photography and video package, one of us will be shooting photography all day and one of us will be filming video all day, so we need to attend both groom and bridal prep together if you want both covered. We normally both head to the groom prep first thing in the morning together (as the groom party tend to be ready alot earlier than the bridal party). We normally need no longer than half an hour at groom prep and capture things like parents helping do button holes/ties, reading over speeches, whisky's with the groomsmen etc and then we will both head to bridal prep to capture makeup & hair finishing touches,  getting into dress, friends/family dress reveal etc.

How much are additional hours if we want you longer than your 10 hour package?

Additional hours are charged at £120 per hour.

Do you need to see the venue before hand?

No, this isn't essential, we have never needed to visit a venue prior to a wedding as we are very used to shooting in new environments every day, but we will always make sure to research your venue in advance, getting ourselves familiar with the space.

Can we speak to you before the wedding, to go over our plans and get to know each other better?

Yes, all our packages include a pre-wedding consaltation, either face to face for couples who are local to us or via Skype for those who are more further a field.

We're quite camera shy, any advice?

We love to capture things as they naturally happen, making sure our couples are relaxed as possible. We have a very non-obtrusive style,  with the idea that both you and your guests will forget we are there and just enjoy the day without worrying about being on camera. We try and avoid shooting anything to staged/posed and like to offer advise during the couples session to help you feel more at ease and confident, again shooting things as they naturally happen. The great thing about video is we use the same model of camera for both our photography and video, so you and your guests won't even notice half the time we are even filming.

Do you capture the traditional family shots?

Of course! We always send our couples some guidelines and combination suggestions for group shots in advance to help you get organised and structured before the day.

Do you have full wedding galleries we can see?

Yes, please head here.

How much in advance do I need to book?

Ideally as soon as possible, as our couples on average book us up to 2 years in advance. We are currently fully booked for 2018 and 2019, with dates for 2020 is filling up fast, so don't leave it too late.

Can I purchase extra usb boxes with prints?

Yes, these are £75.00 each, with UK delivery included.
